Dear meep users,
This is just a quick report.

I've installed meep 1.4.1 using install script.
Required packages were installed by homebrew instead of apt-get.
The "make test" reports error in symmetry test.

This is the error log

Testing X twofold rotational symmetry with PML...
real part = 4.79458e-08 differs by -6.99847e-17 from 4.79458e-08
This gives a fractional error of 1.45966e-09
hy differs by 6.99847e-17+1.18458e-17i from 4.79458e-08-6.15267e-06i
This comes out to a fractional error of 1.15361e-11
Right now I'm looking at x = 1.46, y = 0.33, time 29.4375
meep: error in exact_pml_rot2x_tm vacuum
