Thanks for the mail! I've had almost no contact with translators for
better or for worse. Once the infrastructure was in, the translations
appeared as if by magic.

Is there a special way to mark strings as auto-translatable?

It's unfortunate, but thats the only way to set attributes on strings in
glade. There is a bug filed for this issue. I could look at doing the
markup from code if the entire string is enclosed in a single span.
