Most of the time when i compare two revisions i start with opening the first file in the tree, view the changes side by side and do whatever needs to be done. After that i close the code view tab and open the next file in the tree...
More often than not i repeat this process till the end of the tree What i constantly miss and imagine, is the ability to open the next file (ideally in the same tab) by clicking on an icon in the toolbar (that looks like "go to the next change icon" but with horizontal right arrow) or by using Alt+Right.
