Meld's unstable releases are generally pretty sane, even though we've
been messing with quite a bit of stuff this cycle. While it may not
look it, I want to start slowing down for the next stable release
series very soon... probably after we've finished messing with VC
support.

So yeah, I think it's reasonable to expect that we'd have a new stable
release around that time frame. Feel free to hassle the list closer to
the date if the releases aren't flowing.

Yes, considered, and it's something I'd love to do. We've just never
managed to get a smooth release flow going on. This is definitely
something I'd be keen on in the future however.
