I'm sorry, but these are build problems that really have nothing to do
with Meld, so it's hard to help. My best guess is that you've
installed glib-2.38.2 to a different prefix or the pkgconfig file
isn't being found.

Unless you really *really* want the unstable master branch, you should
probably consider using Meld 1.8.3 (or whatever you can run on your
installed glib/gtk/pygtk stack).
