Hi Joan,

I am the Finance Director for the City of Coalinga and we are replacing our
financial software. I sent out a message very similar to yours about six
weeks ago and received 16 responses. The following systems were suggested.

Bi-Tech. Positive recommendation from two cities. Contact is Drake Brown
(530-891-5281)

Eden Systems. Positive recommendation from seven cities. Phone
800-328-0310

Fund Balance. Positive recommendation from one city, negative from one city
and kinda luke warm from one city.

HTE. Positive recommendation from two cities.

Pentamation. Positive recommendation from two cities, negative from one
city and luke warm from one city. One city also said the accounting portion
was very good but they could not get the utility billing module to work at
all. Phone 610-691-3616

I am not yet very organized in further research of these companies but would
like to share information with you if we are looking for similar systems. I
can also provide more detail about what specific cities said about the above
systems if you would like.
