The City of Half Moon Bay is in need of a Police Facility, a new library, downtown Strom drainage, and downtown parking facilities. I am preparing an out line of alternatives for the City Council to review from GO Bonds - RDA - Sales taxes - Assessment Districts. I would like to prepare a summary survey of what other Ca. Cities have done over the last five years to finance such facilities. I would appreciate it if you could please take a few minutes to e-mail me what your City has done to finance similar projects. If you could provide me with the type of public project, the method of financing, the amount of debt issued, the anticipated revenue sources, the community input / reaction / reception, and any other pertinent information.
