The consensus on Paid leave for Parent/Teacher Conference is that the
employer must allow time off to attend.  However, time is charged to a
an employee's eligible paid leave or dock time.

Several comments were made regarding a state law that specified the
maximum number of hours for time off to attend "school events".  I have
not been able to locate legislation on this item.  If I find anything
will forward to the list.
