The City Manager has asked that I do some research on "Sales Tax Revenue Sharing Agreements". Of interest are agreements and/or programs which exist in your community for the sharing of sales tax revenue growth which is related to new or expanding retail business. This is an economic development "tool" the City Manager has used in other communities and would like to begin using the revenue sharing idea here.
