I case you haven't yet noticed, we are becoming an electronic community. We
gather info from each other, we conduct surveys and we even comment to each
other on issues. All via this group list. Unfortunately we often don't know
what each other looks like. For example, looking at todays mail,I know Bill
Statler but I don't know Joan Streit from Albany on sight. When I go to the
conference in Pasadena next week I will connect with many of the people who
I know in person, but probably not with many of the people who I'm starting
to know electronically. Why ? Because I don't know what many of you look
like.
Well have we got a deal for you.... Since San Jose is hosting the 2001
conference we will have a booth at the Pasadena conference in the exhibition
area. If you come by, we will take a GREAT electronic photo of you and Email
it to you free of charge. We guarantee a good photo since we can take
several and you can pick the best ....unless of course, you are having a bad
hair day but we won't get into that. When you receive it, you can then
save it to a file and attach it to group emails, resumes, speaking bios or
whatever. Think of this as practicality with a modern media not E-vanity.
For example, if you click on the icon you can see my photo if you have MS
photo editor, or equivalent. Warning: the City of San Jose accepts no
liability for cracked or broken terminal screens!!!! See you all in
Pasadena.....and come by for a free Pic.
