I checked the CSMFO website for the following information, but found only retiree survey results...forgive me if this has somehow available and I missed it!

The Town of Truckee currently pays 100% of the employee premium for health, dental and vision, in addition to paying for a percentage of the dependent premium.  As a result, the employees with no dependent coverage are receiving less "benefit value" than those with dependent coverage.  This is an issue in this year's negotiations.  I assume they are going to ask for the difference in cash, deferred comp, etc.  I would appreciate any information you can provide that indicates the total amounts being paid by your organizations for insurance.  Do you use percentages or flat maximum amounts per month?  If so, how much?  Do you lump the employee and dependent portions together?  Or do you pay 100% for employee premiums with a flat maximum for dependent coverage?  Any information would be helpful...thanks, as always!!!
