I know this is not in our area of expertise, but I thought this would be the quickest way to get some direction.  Our current Building Official is retiring soon.  She has never had any type of certification.  We have been told that the Building Official should be certified.   My question is, where do I find what the requirements are to be a Building Official.  Any help is greatly appreciated.   Michael Williams Asst.
