My interpretation of the amended AB 83 is that it now applies to
all cities, charter cities and counties in California vs. the prior
version which only applied to cities and charter cities in LA County.
Definitely one to watch !

We've been actively opposing AB83 due to the financial impact it would have
on our business license revenues. Apparently this bill was significantly
amended on May 25, 2000 - and now we're not sure what it is saying. Can
anyone provide a heads up - and whether it will continue to impact cities?
