Our board has just adopted the FY 2000/01 budget, which consists of an annual budget and one year forecast (2001/02). Before the budget process for the following fiscal year starts, I would appreciate of your information on:
1. The type of budget that your agency/city adopts; an annual budget or a biennial (Two Year) budget.
2. If you adopt a Two Year budget, how often do you review your budget performance? After the first fiscal year?
3. For FY 2001/02, we'll prepare an annual budget and a 4-year forecast. The Annual budget will include line item details, while the forecast will reflect major expense category. Do you include future forecast? If so, how many years of forecast and the detail level?
