We are updating our casino ordinance and no provision was made if the monthly payment was not made on a timely basis. The casino revenue to the city is considered a business license fee. Could you please let me know what your city charges as a penalty for late payment of business license fees. I know Mammoth Lakes charges 20% per month plus interest. We want to make the penalty stiff and the City Administrator and City Council are interested in what other Cities do. I will inform you of the results and thanks for your help.
