We are considering
modifying our accounting procedures to consolidate our debt service
funds. Currently, we have a seperate fund for each separate bond
issue. This simplifies internal tracking, but makes financial reporting
more difficult. I would appreciate any input on how other agencies
are handling accounting for their debt service.
