We need more city opposition letters/phonecalls to legislators and the Governor on the
following three bills which remove local control:
SB 1621 makes it more difficult to adopt interim ordinances. Assembly Floor.
SB 1545 hands over building inspection authority for employee housing to architects
and engineers hired by the proponent.
Asembly Apps. 8/23 hearing
SB 2001, requires charter cities to provide specific notices related to drive
throughs. Assem Apps.
