One of my responsibilities in addition to
Finance is the oversight and management of Information Technologies (IT).
The City of Campbell has in its FY 00/01 workplan the development of a Citywide,
comprehensive "Use of Technology" Policy. This policy will pertain to
acceptable, appropriate and authorized use of information technologies within
the City in addition to addressing policy administration and enforcement. This policy will be a topic of
discussion at our annual management retreat the end of October, so we are
looking for sample policies,
etc.
Attached is a survey form to hopefully assist
you in responding to this request. Across the top of the form are the
various policy components and some additional information I'm interested
in. Any information you can share either in hard copy, soft copy, or
both will greatly be appreciated. Providing any web addresses or
other reference sources would also be helpful.
