Hi list.
The positive wire on my alternator in my 1200 ute came off last night as it
was getting out and shitty and made the charge light come on. I went to undo
the bolt that hold the wire on and it snapped off. I pulled the alternator
apart and tapped a big thread for another bolt but when in put it back
together it didn't work...funny hey.
So i went and got another alternator that had been tested and works and
wacked it on.
Charge light still on but I'm getting 14.7 volts...weird huh. I could not
figure it out.
Is there an easy fix to this? why is it doing this?
