I used the Datsun 1600 nolathane bushes, drilled them out to fit the larger rods,
drilled the washers out too, used the brass spacer tubes, and then followed
the advice of several from the Bluebird list :

Drill the 'donuts' with 6 extra holes around the main centre one. Make them
about 3/8" or 10mm round and space them evenly around the donuts. This allows
less restricted vertical movement and hopefully will avoid the possibility of
breaking a rod during a high-speed turn.
Also, might pay to have the LJ rods crack-tested and heat treated unless the
previous owner did.
