Hi Adam everyone seems to bag the microtech out but I have found them to be
great especially price wise and ease of use. I have had mine in the 1200 for
two years now it has two setting one for high boost and avgas fuel mix the
other for normal boost normal fuel. Im no autosparky but had no problem wiring
it up. Was great just hitting the key and it fired and run sweet with factory
settings!!! of course it needed tuning but was fairly close. Fuel economy is
nearly 30mpg on freeway and has over 300hp Im sure even with a mega dollar
computer it would have very little more so bang for buck go the Microtech MTX8
is good as it does coil drivers and all. The factory ecu is a nightmare to wire
and get right that why I ditched it in favour of the after market.
My 2 cents worth
Andrew
