The 240K 5 speed bolts in without any mods.  Just check that your clutch
throwout bearing sleeve is the same length as the original. The 5 speed will
cut noise, revs and fuel consumption.  Your speedo will read inaccurately,
so road test it with another vehicle to check.

If your car has rusty doors or front guards you can buy rust repair sections
to replace the rusted bits.

Fit some decent rear shockers and front strut inserts, put on a set of 6
inch rims and good rubber and your car will handle better than new.

When you have done the above, then think about improving the engine
breathing to improve the go department. A  pair of SU's off an early
180BSSS  is the easiest bolt on option.
