I want to convert the point ignition to the 910 series electronic set-up. I know what parts are involved but I still have a few questions. I don't want to run the vac advance as my engine has twin webbers. I find that using vac advance on this set-up results in the advance pulsing around and causing all sorts of troubles. SHOULD I HAVE IT REGRAPHED? IF SO COULD I PLEASE HAVE THE CORRECT MECHANICAL ADVANCE SPECS(for the distributor) IF ANYONE KNOWS THEM. If it does need regraphing, approx how much does it cost and is there any good places in Brisbane or Queensland that can be entrusted with such a job? My other question applies to the recent talk about adjustable strut tops. Peter mentioned a engineering firm that makes them. How much do they cost and what is the range of adjustment available? I was considering the K-Mac set-up but a local car buff warned me that they are susceptable to breakage resulting in a strut through the bonnet and damaged front guards....NASTY. The whiteline option looks good but seems to be an unnecessary amount of f#*king around to achieve the correct amount of adjustment. Sorry about the length but once again I guess its for a very good cause. LONG LIVE THE 1600!!!!!!
