I got mine from ridge crest with a tube of three bond sealant ( moter bike
crank case sealant) for ~115 including postage. I have had mine head off 3
times so far and its just a mater of getting the gasket annealed before
puting it back on.
As for blowing I have had mine engine oringed and with the sealant I have
had no problems. Last time I pulled the engine apart i had it on the engine
stand and 2 of us could not lift the head off I ended up pulling the timming
cover off and knocking the head up with a block of wood and a hammer.

How long to copper gaskets last? I assume they can't blow, can you use
them again if you need to pull down the motor. Do you squash when you
torque them or do they keep their shape allowing you to install them heaps
of times?
