If this was
at a Nissan dealership then that's embarrassing. The 120Y was locally assembled
with Japanese imported parts from 3/74 - 11/75 and Aussie built from 12/75
- 3/79. You can tell if yours is an odd ball as there are some out there when
there were supply shortages due to industrial problems etc mainly by the
electrics. If you've got all Hitachi or Mitsubishi then it's an import, Bosch
and Lucas are Aussie content locally assembled. Also a second check is to have a
look at the brand of your master cylinder although this is not conclusive as
they were usually replaced with Aussie cylinders if the need arose.
