WooHoo! I finally got my hands on a Gazelle RS-X today! Its a jap spec car with IRS. Goes okay but the power steering doesnt work and the FJ20DET emits a little smoke on over run (rings maybe?) not a problem. The only worrying thing is the wiring. Apparently the previous owner blew the ECU up by connecting jump (booster) leads round the wrong way, so now although the original ECU is still connected, a load of wires are spliced in which are connected to a Bosch unit from a Vauxhall Cavalier (urgh). It would also appear to have the wrong airflow meter. The damn thing does less than 20mpg! (or is that my extra heavy foot) Anybody know where I can get an ECU and airflow meter for it? Or know of one from another model that will work..I don't mind shipping costs etc so it doesnt matter where it comes from!
