I know its not a datto, but last night my brother had to see what speed he
could do in his WRX after his new turbo. He got 260k's at 6500rpm, it run
out of puff and road there.

Hey Wardy Talking about top speeds I have entered a supersprint at
Eastern creek on the 29th october. Ill be throwing the 3.3:1 diff in the
datto and wondering what sort of speed it should be able to pull it has
200kw at the rears and weighs just over 900kg with me in it. It pulled
over 220 at bathurst but that was a rather short spurt starting from the
dip so Im thinking with a pretty fast run onto the straight the datto
should pull 240-250 at least all I need is a local highway patrol to
clock it :) I think they sometimes have this happen as at bathurst they
quite often have the local Highway patrols clocking speeds for a bit. Im
thinking that rear wing will have to be made and fitted before this as
at that speed I imagine it will be a little floaty wasnt too bad at 220
but hiting the kink at full tilt was a bit much I think the 1600 would
be a fair bit better stabilty wise. Whats your thoughts??
