well it was never actually finished..

The car was an old 4 door 200b.... Cut the roof off to build a crazy burnout
machine
for the easter nats but lost interest and funds for the go part of it...

We plan on doing another car soon (properly)...to register and have some fun
in..

I think you will need to reinforce a lot of things. once we cut the roof off
the car was like a banana. It flexed and twisted
all over the place...To fix it we welded the doors shut and welded a big
brace across the b pillars behind the back seat which made it
soild as a rock.... Dont know how you go about the legalities of it but I'm
sure I'll find out on the next attempt...

There was an article in hot4's ages ago on a guy from america coming over to
oz and building a convertable 510 in about 2weeks and then driving it down
the great ocean road...
He had to build a big cross brace section under the car and fit a few roll
bars up top to pass an engineers report....Funny thing was it rained the
whole
way on the trip down the coast so they wore yellow rain coats and helmets.
