After many weeks and months of headaches, cut and sire fingers, and literally blood sweat and tears, I am proud to say that the little Datsun (GOD) will be back on the road in 2 weeks. (By the way GOD comes from the Number Plates)
 
I have to thank everyone on the list for their tips and ongoing tech support as this is more like a hobby to me than anything else.
 
I've picked up my forgies (JE Racing Pistons) today (friday) and I'm hoping to have the motor reasembled in 2 weeks.
 
This is my configuration for all who are interested in what I have put together for less than $15000 including car.
 
Datsun 1600 with metallic burgundy spray job. Ultra-Lite Wheel with Street Slick on the rear. Re-Trimmed Recaro type interior with many internal goodies... i.e. System, Autometre guages, Steering wheels and Gearnobs... blah blah blah. As for the Engine and Driveline (the good part): Nissan FJ20T with High Flow T3 Turbo, High tension Valve Springs in Head and Fully Serviced (New Everythin) to Performance Spec,  JE Racing Forged Pistons running 8:1 Compression, Balanced and Linished Crank and Conrods, Bigger Injectors, (Soon to be Intercooled), Running 18Psi of Boost, Heavy Duty Brass Button Clutch,  FJ20T 5SPD Gearbox, 240K Twin Piston Brakes at the front, Custom Tailshaft leading to a R200 Diff (from a 300ZX). Running Only Shell Optimax.
 
All the above is managed a an Ignition and Fuel Programmable Haltech E6A Computer, that will be tuned by HITMAN.
 
I think the above should be good for Mid 11 Quarter Mile Passes and should be able to pop around 280 - 300Hp at the wheels (Although no promises made). If not I'm dropiing to the T4!!!!!!!!
