Thanks for the encouragement. Next year I am going to try and take out the
MSCA series championship for under 2 litre non marque cars. I guess I'm
getting more serious now and want a trophy on the mantle.
On saturday in the driver training I took out Paul Stokel for a couple of
laps. He drives that black Lamborgini Diablo 666 in GTP. Well anyway I've
put in a 4.11 diff so I could pull out of the hairpins in third gear with
the engine just on cam. At the end of the run he takes off his helmet and
turns to me and says, "Torquey little sucker isn't it". HA Ha har, should of
seen my grin.

I have just checked out the results from last weekends MSCA sprint at
winton. I had a fastest lap of 1min 49sec. Looks like I have run second
fastest in class (under 2ltr) still unofficial. Just behind a serious alfa
sud. I have even knocked off a mini that I have been chasing all year. I'm
real happy.
It was a shit day for me as I had problems with a stuffed coil or dissy and
the car would not rev past about 4 grand. After checking out the fuel
system, thinking the fault was there we changed the ignition and yee har. In
my final three laps I set my quickest time of the day and I think I can do
better as I was unacustomed to the car running fast and was missing the
apexes on some of the corners.
The final round is out a calder on the 12 of Nov and I will be trying to end
the season on a high with my first win. Like Brad I would like to plug
Errols business Datrats, go there for all your modification needs.
