Hey list,
Problem: Late Fiday night I was just cruising along and heard a clunk from
under the car, I didn't think much about it till when I stopped at the next
set of lights and couldn't accelerate when they changed green. I had it in
gear but it was just revving and no power to the wheels. I got out and looked
under the car and my rear right axel was hanging down from there wheel. It had
come off from the universal joint that joins the diff.
Need to know: Can I fix this myself without too much fuss, and how much am I
looking at to get another axle? Does anyone in Sydney have a good one they
want to sell ? or am I better to replace the whole diff/axle somehow? All
comments welcome.
