A 1/8" NPT adapter will only screw into a BPT Nissan oil pressure switch hole a couple of turns. It's the same thread but just a little bit smaller in diameter. You can tap it out a bit but it's tricky to catch the bits of metal. I've seen it done and some heavy duty grease was used to traps the shavings. All good gauge retail outlets should have the correct adapter as Nissan still uses the BPT thread on oil senders AFAIK.

If it's not what terry thinks it may be 1/8" NPT(National Pipe thread). I found the sender for one of my oil pressure gauges had to be 1/8"NPT to get it to fit.
