Nicole sorry you do not get sympathy from me you said you were thrashing it so you
should pay the price if you are caught.
You said it was your first time out on a Friday since getting your P's .
Remember a licence is a privilage not a right and with that privilidge you get to put
your life and others in your hands remember if you stuff up while thrashing and kill
some one you will have to live with that for the rest of your life.
There is a reason why you are on your P's that is that you are still learning how to
drive really.
Getting experiance on how to drive by yourself.
Unfortunatly you drive a Datto??? I guess that probably is a little too loud and you
can be tracked down by that as Datto's have a exhaust note all of there own.
So I suggest if you are going to have a thrash be carefull on where you do it as I
have always done.
I have had Datto's for a few years now and yes I have been stopped for the usual
things but never have I had any real hassles with the boy's in blue even when I was
towing a 1600 on a trailor with tail lights that didn't work for some reason with my
bunky 1600 wagon that was rough as guts different coloured pannels while waiting for
the respray.
I have also owned for about 2 years a bright orange 1600 that was too loud too low ect
ect and I never had any hassles with the boys in blue either as I always picked my
place and time to havew my fun and it deffinatly wasn't on Thurs,Friday or saturday
nights when the boys in blue are really on the lookout here in Perth.
Any how as I said do the dead pay the price as Richard said above me keep it to open
days at the track or go have a thrash in a paddock some where or on a bush track.
Any how I hope you learn't your lesson and I hope you will take in a litte of wot I
have said and use it to your advantage.
I wish you many happy and safe years of motoring.
Rick White.
P.S remember the Police are only doing their jobs trying to keep yours and others
lifes safe.
