Another long thread.I was at a mates workshop early one morning and could here
another mate on his way to work in his newly fitted 13b turbo RX4.He was really
giving it a serving.When he arrived he parked it down the left hand side of the
workshop and about 30secs later a cop car came screaming in and went down the
right and side of the workshop,chucked a u-turn and proceeded to leave.This put
a smile on Mark's face until they spotted the offending car in the mirror and
backed up and came inside.They asked who owned the black car and Mark admitted
it was his.They then said what the hell do you think you were doing.Mark replies
depends what bit did you see.The cop shacks his head and says that he was parked
down the road when a black flash nearly gave him a heart attack.Mark then says
that he just put new plugs in it and wanted to make sure it wasn't missing.The
cop then says I'll right you out a ticket for undue noise but be a bit more
carefull.Mark thinking he's smart says I've just had this legally past over the
pits with this exhaust.The cop then what do you want,drive in a manner dangerous
or undue noise.Undue noise will do says Mark.We all had a laugh when the cops
left,I suppose you had to be there.I thought the cops were more than fair and
have since been back to have work done.
