hey listers
what is the biggest rim width size u can fit onto a 1600 without resorting
to metal chopping.Im guessing 8inch at the rears max, but it would appear
that my cars rear wheel arches have been lipped slightly as it is so im
basically wondering th largest rim width.
Now for radiators
Im thinking of using a heavy duty VN- current commodore radiator after
reading a few recent articles about them, theyre incredibly good for cooling
(lots of fins all alloy) , come standard with a large thermo, and are
reasonably thin. Obviously theres plenty of them and a good second hand one
can be had for 150 bucks. Basically my question is can anyone see any
problems here, whats the approx cost for getting a outlet moved from side to
side and i think thats pretty much about it. The dimensions i have here
between the tanks is 545mm if anyone else actually owns a commodore could
they measure the depth (i'll be taking me tape measure with me next trip to
the wreckers anyways :)
