Listers,
I gave my L20B a compression test (only at
cranking RPM) and it measured 160 psi.. As i was told when i brought it last
year that it needed to run on decent octane fuel, i thaught 160 psi was low.as
in normal compression. Now the idiot that i am, i had the throttle closed. A
retest with wide open throttle gave a compression of 240 PSI at cranking speed
with a big cam.. Does this mean AVGAS only ? $$$$$$ or say 50/50 mix avgas &
PULP.
