Justin,

I am having problems with my R200 as well. Mine is out of my car at the
moment, and to remove that dirty slut of a nut, I used a BIG socket set and
stopped the diff turning by putting two long bolts in the flange bolt holes
sothere was over-hang, and then placed a long bar in-between them so that
the diff could'nt spin. You might be able to do this with the diff in the
vehicle, but be carefull, a lot of force is involved. I would'nt want to be
on the recieving end of a BIG socket that has just lost control!!!!

Another way is to position the socket on the bolt and then place a hydraulic
jack under the handle of the ratchet and jack the fucker up.
Be warned though, whilst I have had success with this method before, I have
also destroyed a few sockets in the process. Quality sockets and a BIG
ratchet is reccomended.

Have you managed to find a flange that suits the R200 and the 1600
tailshaft????? This is my next hurdle.

Yours in bodginess,

Damien

P.S Be carefull, facial reconstructive surgery is not cheap!!!
