For a 6"x14 rim the best fit tyre and legal on a 1600 is a 195. The wider
sizes are still legal on the rim although they may not be legal on the car
as they will break the +4% diameter rule. eg 215/60x14 is legal on rims from
5.5" - 8.5" but technically not legal on a 1600.
