Hey David, the only experience I have had with injectors is on tom's z20e 
engine. That has the rail>hose>injector style top feed injectors. I think these 
are like FJ injectors and some of the Merc injectors the list has been talking 
about recently. 
Anyway, what I would do is trundle down to the U-steal-it and pick up the fuel 
rail from an L24 (same injectors again) or CA20. I know there is a few of them 
there. The 6 cylinder one will need to be shortened but that gives you the 
chance to fit your regulator and pressure gauge. Think thats a good idea? You 
could even rip the lugs out of the factory manifold and have them welded into 
yours!

I have read that too large injectors can hurt low rpm performance, I assume 
beacuse they cannot open and shut as quickly. They were talking about 1000cc 
injectors though!!!
