Lachlan,

To ensure the dask light is not faulty, earth the wire
out and the dash light should glow, indicating the
light and wire running to the light are both ok.

If you go to Repco you can pick up a "T" piece so that
your light switch and gauge can be connected at the
same time. That way you get a light warning and "real
time" pressure reading.
