I tried to get a roadworthy on my 200B and they knocked it back...they want 4 new
tyres even
though they arent below the indicator marks...and they didnt like my body work...he
wanted a "more
professional finish" on the bonnet and I told him I wasnt going to keep that bonnet
and he crapped
on "well you have to show me the one you are going to use" but I havent aquired one
yet...anyway
he said the brakes were like a bought one so that is one good thing...I'm getting
quite a bit of
mechanical noise at 100k/h though, is that standard datsun issue? It's a 4 speed
manual...maybe I
should check the diff oil or something.
What's rego worth for 6 months in qld these days? I already got compulsary third party
insurance...and how much are preffered plates...you used to be able to pick the
letters you want if
they were still available, and within the range.
