Steve,
The s3 crossmember is fine. The gearbox mount off the ca20 can be bolted staight to the fj20et box and then bolted in the original holes. Then you can place a piece of 30mm wood between the sump and crossmember whilst still keeping the engine supported and central you can make up some engine mounts or modify the fj one to line up with the ca20 rubbers. The brake booster should be rotated 180 deg first to allow clearance of the manifold. Then comes all the fiddly bits.Throttle cable from a s2 can be used. The radiator inlets/outlets need to be changed.Heater hoses are a cut and join affair. The ca20's oil pressure and temp sender units bolt staight in and can be wired up along with the alt and starter.Make up an exhaust and change the fuel system and wire in a computer and you ready to play. ( series 2 or series 3 ) I have a series 3 Bluebird , but got a series 2 cross member on advice from people down south , then told I didn't need it as 3 works as well , any experience or advise would be appreciated . Also does anyone know where I could get a engine mount bracket made up for the passenger side ( near turbo ) from some down south who either has made one before or has the template for one as not much in the way of conversion places up here in the NT Thanks in advanceSteve NT --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
