Nat,
It will be one of two problems as this happened to me.
If the brakes are hard to bleed it will be the return valve in the bottom of the
resevoir
on the master cylinder blocked.
If this is the problem it usually starts off OK and then as the brakes warm up they
bind
harder and harder
the further you go as the fluid expands and can't return to the cylinder.
The other problem with R31 is the hand brake cables are a p*ss poor design that
designed
to fail as dirt can get into them and they seize.
Disconnect the cables from the callipers and see if this solves the problem. If you've
got
a wheel in the air you'll know if this is the
problem even without driving.
