hey,

the measurement you need to take is from the top of the stub axle to the
bottom of the spring saddle, why do you want to put gas inserts in the
struts? why not change to 240K struts, discs and calipers and pull the strut
apart, clean all the parts in alcohol based cleaner and replace the oil with
20W50 engine oil. pour oil into the center tube and fill the outside to 3/4
of the strut height and replace. if you wish to replace the springs, use
Pedders Datsun 1600 Rally Springs, this will give you the correct ride
height and excellent handling, plus it is cheaper than using gas inserts.
