The radius rod is the rod that adjusts front wheel caster and runs from the
lower control arm to the front of the car.  The factory radius rod does not
have adjustment, so basically you bolt in and forget until the old rubber
bushes wear out and you get un-even braking and tyre rubbing.

I got a set of adjustable radius rods ($100) and neoprene bushes ($40) and
no have mine adjusted up at 5deg positive (I think the factory setting is
about 0deg).

No more tyre scrubbing on the inner guard.

Re ride height, have you measured the distance between the wheel hub centre
and gaurd lip?
