Listers The ACTDAT cruise of Sunday saw about 12 cars ranging from 1600's, 108B's, a Stanza, 200B's and a Zed. There were a few more at the start point but trotted off to the Hillclimb instead of Cruising to the Cotter.
The cruise was great, nice twisty 35 km road with a few drops and rises thrown in for good measure. The convoy stayed together the whole way. At one point we came around a sharp bend and found a nice sprinling of gravel right on the apex, all of us took a huge "gulp" hoping to hell we could negotiate it in one piece. After arriving at the Cotter, ideas, thoughts and the general chit chat about Datto's developed and quite a few ideas were exchanged. We are still keen of creating a more "formal" club, so those of you in the ACT that are interested, contact either James Cox ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) or myself ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). If we get enough "Fair Dinkum" interest we will convene a meeting to get the ball rolling. Remember the Datto 1600 Nationals will be held in Sydney early Oct 2002 and it would be great to have ACTDAT represented.
