my original L18W setup was a 2500 - 6500 cam, with A87 head, bowl cleanup and slight port. and i was running twin 40's with 34mm chokes went really well in the 1200 coupe. excellent response as a street car. at least with 45's you can eventually use them on a bigger motor or higher rev's, when i changed this cam to a 76 deg (304 dur), the 40's ran out of puff above 6000 depends on what you want. or your future motors,
