The shocks - Koni, of course. Expensive though. Why not look out for a 1600 ( or 180B ,200B etc... ) that is wrecking. The other day I saw some 240K struts in a written off 1600.They had rebuilt calipers, metal pads, pedders sport inserts, pedders HD springs(lowered 50mm) and offset strut tops. He wanted $200 for them complete.( they sold in 48 hours) This is how I got my suspension and brakes in my car. It cost about $900 spent over 12months, and it handles and brakes pretty well. I was observant and patient, and if you want good susp and brakes for minimal cash, you'll have to be observant and patient as well. Good luck.
