Hi Mark,

I am unsure if you have seen this stuff already, but specs/features
of ecus from both manufacturers are available for comparision here:
http://www.motec.com.au/ecu.htm
http://www.turbofast.com.au/autronic/autronic.html

Also, Hot4s had an independant ecu comparo of all ecus available
in australia recently. And for a while, zoom did a more detailed ecu
review from each manufacturer in each issue. I think I have the
motec and autronic one.

from my basic exposure to the area it seems they both are going
to perform their primary control functions very well. So I figure your
choice will depend on application specific stuff like which has a
suitable number of auxilary outputs that you are going to require
etc etc. both have models with similar special functions also (eg
antilag autronic, overrun boost enhancement motec) which doesnt
make the choice any easier. Personally, I like that the motec is
upgradable at any time just by getting a new feature password, and
the latest software is always (freely) dowloadable, so you dont have
to worry that your investment is going to be obsolete as soon as
you buy it (unlike PCs!)

If you would like to see those zoom or hot4s articles, I can try to
find them...
Andrew
