Justin, 200B struts are a "low cost easy as it comes" bolt on conversion for a 1600.
There are a 3 different brakes used on a 200B and for the Aussie Girlocks you have to reverse the struts i.e. is left for right etc. and if you have 13" rims there are only a couple of mag type wheels that fit (I just forget which one's fit), so you need 14's or larger in most cases. The Girlock brakes are reasonable for street use but good quality competition pads are very exy and you don't have a lot of choice (Bendix Metal King, Pagid blue, Green stuff) but for Sumitomo you can still get Bendix Ultimates which are sweet. The Sumitomo/R31 Skyline 4 disc combo with Ultimates all round is a very cost effective street braking package. The preferred 200B brakes are: 1. Imported Sumitomo twin spot; 2. Girlock DBA 315 10/77 - 7/79 (larger disc than 326); 3.
